Dana Frid is a fashion designer living in East Cairo.
TA: What’s your current hustle?
TA: Has what you’re doing now been a life-long interest?
DF: Of course, its not to be working in Fashion that interest me, but doing something creative is what I live for.
TA: What’s the most memorable career advice you’ve received?
DF: To be tough and very stubborn in getting things done.
TA: What been your biggest obstacle?
DF: Being far away from where I belong or from where I fit the best.
TA: If you could tell your younger self one thing about life, what would it be?
DF: I wouldn't tell my younger self anything. I would tell my future self, ''That we are relying on you so bad!!!''
TA: Where do you find inspiration, when needing it?
DF: Everything inspires me, it's always random things that inspires me the most. Right now the new flower bouquet that my mum bought, so pretty.
TA: What has been the best moment in your career so far?
DF: Making a lot of money in a short period of time!
TA: What do you do that you find different about your creative process; that others in your field might not do?
DF: I do not focus on the overalls, I really like to do pieces that stands on its own.
TA: What are you still looking to achieve?
DF: Living somewhere else, somewhere that inspires me. Somewhere that makes everything in me alive. I think it exists.
TA: What would you say to someone who may think that their talent is not an ideal career path?
DF: If whoever has any sort of doubts about his or her talent then he or she will never became anything in the future.
TA: What do you see the future holding?
DF: Lets be optimistic and say happiness.
