TA: What’s your current hustle?

TF: I am a stylist!

TA: Describe the difference between your 9-5 and your 5-grind?

TF: It's been a little over a year now since I decided to quit my 9-5. I currently work full time as a Freelance Fashion Stylist and Creative Consultant.

TA: Who gave you the most memorable career advice?

TF: My professor while, studying footwear design at the London College of Fashion. He told me to always keep a journal — to jot down my ideas and for quick sketches. Now I'm popping up at 3AM and putting those ideas on paper.

TA: Has what you’re doing now been a life-long interest? Or was it discovered later?

SPREAD-FOUR.jpg

TF: I've always been interested in fashion and the impact it has on the world. I went to a Performing Arts high school and focused on dance, set design and costume design. I also have a Bachelors Degree in fashion merchandising & retail marketing and a certificate in footwear design. I knew I wanted to create and I feel like my life is now a mash up of all those things.

TA: Has there ever been a time you didn’t think you’d make it to this point in your career? What kept you going?

TF: Absolutely! What has kept me going is always looking back to the point where I didn't feel like I could do certain things and then I did it. I believe we all have the power to achieve the things we want out of life once we claim it.

TA: What would you tell your younger self about work ethic?

SPREAD-THREE.jpg

TF: Don't be discouraged by the word "no". Growing up trying to find my way into the Fashion industry I've had a lot of doors closed in my face. Initially I was a bit discouraged but I didn't give up, I stuck with it and pushed through.

TA: What has been your favorite “project,” so far?  Why?

TF: I recently collaborated with a great friend of mine on our biggest project to date. I can't speak on it fully yet but I'm excited for it to drop later this summer.

TA: Who are your 3 “must-follows” on Instagram?

TF: @miraduma@edward_enninful@crfashionbook

TA: In a few words, Describe your friends (inner circle)?

TF: I'm broad in this sense. I have people I can talk fashion and arts with and then the ones I call on for spiritual advice and realignment with self.

TA: Closing statements...

TF: Do not let anyone talk you out of your dreams. Immerse yourself into the universe and utilize all of your talents and abilities.
